Giorgio Bertolone and was born in Turin, Italy. He's been
interested in animation and art since he was a little boy.
After briefly studying Graphic Design, he decided to follow
his dreams and moved to Canada to study 3D Animation and
Visual Effects at the Vancouver Film School. He describes
the time as a great and intensive year, where he learned
the art of the animation.

"These
Paws Are Made For Flying" is his final short film and
graduate thesis. The film is a callback to a lot of great,
classic animated shorts like old Disney films. The film
looks good, but could have benefitted from some texture,
detail, and contrast work as he has demonstrated in subsequent
work on the assets.
At any rate, the film shows Bertolone's love for the medium,
and his potential for the future.

"I completed 'These Paws are Made for Flying' in about
six months. I started preproduction with some drawings,
a little story and a 2D animatic. I then spent most of the
production time in the rigging and animation process, and
in the last weeks I worked on the final compositing and
editing.
