If you haven't heard of Project Orange it's pretty cool! Basically it's artists from all over the world collaborating using open source and free software only, to create a cg short film.

Think it looks really promising and im sure this will be of great advertisment value to the blender community. Hope it turns out great! I love blender as an opensource project even though I have never had the patience to compleatly learn it being to spoiled with the Cinema 4D userinterface.
