Same here, I enjoyed the trailer, specially the endjoke was funny sort of visual riddle. Im not sure audiences who do not work with 3d graphics does see these elements in the 2d part as 3d elements in a 2d movie, but rather accepts the whole as a unified image of 2d celshading, so the funny joke in the trailer about 3d vs 2d animation works perhaps better for them.

Anyways, I havent really followed Simpsons but enjoyed them occasionally. So this might be a fun ride still to get to know them abit better :)

Looks great! Long time fan of the Simpsons... This will be one I see in theatres.
